An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Account Manager to join our Standards-Sales division at SAI Global. This role is responsible for driving the achievement of new business and renewal targets set for the group of customers within the allocated territory. Location : Melbourne, Sydney or Perth- depending on the candidates location Salary : up to $90,000 including super Purpose of the Role: Reporting to the Head of Sales, APAC the Account Executive has an assigned sales target that requires cultivating and managing strong relationships within existing clients to develop and convert leads for sales of our products and services in Standards, Technical Information and Regulatory Content. · Manage existing accounts within a designated territory to achieve a budgeted sales level· Proactively manage a pipeline of new business opportunities· Ensure high level of customer satisfaction· Understand the allocated territory, customer segments and economic drivers· Grow revenue with applicable SAI Global products, solutions and services · Monitor competitor and market activity and report to management and various portfolio manager Duties: You will work closely with our Business Development Managers, Account Managers and the Sales Enablement team• Achieve or exceed new revenue targets and account renewal rates• Identify and qualify opportunities to maximise a client account and ensure uptake of new products in key customer accounts• Act as the dedicated and nominated escalation point for operational, administration and finance queries of designated accounts• Provide a consistent and high level of customer service• Maintain accurate records through Salesforce and other CRM systems • Work with the sales team to identify new key contacts within existing client and non-client organisations through research• Build industry specific networks internally and externally, attend network events and identify new contacts and relevant opportunities• Maintain current knowledge on products, competitive products, and other relevant market information• Actively utilise your workbooks to heat map opportunities and mitigate risks• Maintain Account Territory Plans Work Experience Required: • Between 1-2 years’ experience with a proven successful track record in B2B client relationships• Exposure or experience in Professional Services or Subscription sales is highly desired• Training in a market proven sales methodology is highly desired• Experience in using Salesforce is preferable• High degree of competency in MS Office and computer literacy• Demonstrated ability to conduct training or demonstrations.• Commitment to providing a consistently high standard of customer service• Experience in responding to tenders• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills• Excellent computer literacy, written and numerical reasoning skillsSAI Global is a recognized leading provider of integrated risk management solutions and assurance solutions.
