To support this expansion, they are looking for a sales-focused Business Development Manager to join their Queensland team.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will provide the highest level of client relationship management to a broad base of existing local customers while leading business development and growth activity across Queensland.
- Developing new business opportunities and generating revenue through new business relationships.
- Identify new opportunities through face-to-face sales, business development and lead generation across new and existing networks.
- Transform new business opportunities into contracts.
- Develop networks that generate business opportunities.
- Control the sales process and ensure all active leads are processed and followed through.
- Build and maintain good relationships with operations Teams.
- 3 -5 years working in new business sales within the freight forwarding and transport space.
- Proven sales experience across logistics and supply chain.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders across all levels.
- Strong business acumen to assist with ambitious growth targets.
- Professional approach towards solution selling.
