Reporting to the HR Manager, Services ANZ, this role will see you joining our close knit and customer- focused team. This opportunity will provide you exposure to business transformation projects in a positive time of growth for the organisation.
Manage the negotiation and implementation process of all Company Enterprise Agreements including leading discussions with unions in conjunction with relevant stakeholders when negotiating new agreements
Develop close working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a consistent, coordinated approach to employee relations matters are implemented across the Company
Identify trends and potential ER issues that could impact the Company and design proactive interventions and solutions
Manage highly complex and/or sensitive workplace investigations and case management.
Represent the Company in meetings, negotiations with Unions and attend any employment relations legal proceedings as required
Facilitate the alignment of ER strategies to meet the Company’s strategic direction by providing incisive and insightful advice and support to senior management in all aspects of employee relations
Drive a culture of accountability and appropriate risk management in all aspects of ER
Provide practical and relevant solutions on strategic ER issues
Provide industrial/employment relations consultative support and advice with respect to special projects such as workplace change initiatives
Assist the broader HR team in the implementation of HR initiatives and projects company wide.
Requirements to be successful
Knowledge of relevant legislation e.g. workplace relations act, unfair dismissal laws, EEO and anti-discrimination legislation, OHS etc
Demonstrated experience in providing expert technical and specialised strategic ER/IR advice at a senior level in a Trade-based environment would be highly regarded
Proven ability to implement an ER strategy for an organisation to achieve strategic objectives
Strong ability to analyse complex information and provide sound, well-reasoned decisions
Demonstrated experience in employee relations, change management, performance management and dispute resolution
