The key duties of the position include:
AHL seeks to attract, develop and retain a diverse, enthusiastic and high-performing workforce. To help us in achieving this, we maintain a register of interested applicants for temporary employment opportunities in our hostels across Australia. The Register enables us to source suitably skilled and experienced individuals at short notice for non-ongoing or temporary positions. We offer rewarding experiences, offering employment opportunities across a wide range of industrial functions in areas such as:
• Head of Boarding - APS5/APS6
• Deputy Head of Boarding - APS4/APS5
• Hostel Manager/Assistant Hostel Manager - APS3
• Residential Youth Worker - APS3/APS4
• Hostel Worker (Cook, Night Attendant , Housekeeper) – APS2
To be eligible for engagement with AHL, applicants must meet AHL’s requirements for the following conditions:
• Hold Australian Citizenship,
• Satisfactory National Criminal History Check,
• Satisfactory Medical Assessment, and
• Satisfactorily complete a Probation period.
Applications received will remain active until 30 June 2021. If you wish to remain on our register after this date, you will need to reapply to the next advertised temporary register.
