What is the Opportunity?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results orientated individual to join our Finance team based in Canning Vale, Perth.

The Master Data Administrator sits within our Finance team, and will be responsible for the quality and integrity of master data. This position also plays a critical role to ensure the timely creation and maintenance of master data within our SAP ERP & other key systems, such as Astea. 

We are looking for a person to:

  • Ensure master data integrity in key systems including SAP and Astea, as well as maintaining the processes to support data quality;
  • Identify areas for data quality improvements and help to resolve quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement or process design strategies;
  • Ensure quality of master data of key systems, as well as, development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and integrity;
  • Provide assistance in resolving data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies collaborating with SME.
  • Manage, analyse and resolves data initiative issues and manage revisions needed to best meet internal and customer requirements whilst adhering to published data standards.
  • Assist in data management, governance and data quality of master data requirements with other functional data owners to ensure functional master data integrity across the operation of financial systems is consistent and meets stated business rules and requirements.
  • Work closely with the business/IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operations of the application meet all requirements
  • Rental & Evaluation Asset management working very closely with all stakeholders across the business;
  • Working with the National Operations team develop a uniform approach to ensure fleet optimisation and utilisation;
    Identify and enforce processes to safeguard the company’s assets;
  • Participate in special projects as required in collaboration with all functions within the business;

  • To be successful in this position, you will demonstrate the following:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of ERP systems, preferably SAP;
  • Certificate or diploma in Commerce or Finance;
  • Operational experience with Master Data; Capability to understand and interpret technical data from system end users and translate formats for incorporation into the system;
  • Ability to liaise with key stakeholders;
  • System savvy, high proficiency in MS suite, data analytics and problem-solving skills;
  • Structured approach with great attention to detail; strong organisation skills and
  • Ability to deliver results under pressure
