The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) provides direct care and services to Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), Home and Community Care (HACC), Home Care Package (HCP), Country Home Link (CHL), Transition Care Package (TCP) and Palliative Care (PC) clients of Murray Mallee Community Health Service/ Country Health Connect. The Personal Care Assistant works within a Consumer Directed Care model which requires them to encourage and promote the optimal level of independence, wellbeing and quality of life to clients in their home or other community settings.
