QA Automation Engineer

WhereTo (now part of Flight Centre Travel Group) is looking for a passionate, motivated and skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our growing Product and Engineering teams. This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of the team leading the return to travel and work with some of the largest and most powerful travel programs in the world.

Title: QA Engineer

Job Description

  • Own the quality assurance for one of the products.
  • Define, plan and execute test cases for API testing and UI testing in fast paced release cycles.
  • Report on test execution, defect tracking and regression for project releases.
  • Develop and enhance automation frameworks using JavaScript.
  • Improving and scaling the quality and efficiency of our builds and engineering process.
  • Write clear, concise and actionable bug reports.
  • Work closely with engineers to ensure quick turnaround on fixes.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to isolate problems.
  • Qualifications

  • Must have: 1- 4 years of experience as a QA engineer
  • Must have: A strong QA mindset to think through testing and come up with thorough test cases.
  • Must have: Good in at-least one programming language ( Java/ Javascript).
  • Must have good SQL knowledge.
  • Nice to have: Experience with webdriver framework.
  • Nice to have: Experience testing analytical products.
  • Nice to have: Startup experience.
  • Nice to have: Experience in Travel Industry and GDS
