The Senior Audit and Investigations Officer is accountable tothe Audit and Investigations Coordinator for the provision ofassurance and complaint handling services. The rolesupports the Accredited Professional Scheme Accreditation Authorityand State Planning Commission by ensuring Accredited Professionalsand Council Assessment Panel Members operate effectively andefficiently and comply with all relevant statutory obligations.
Key requirements of the role include:
A thorough knowledge and understanding of audit and riskprinciples, policies and processes is essential to the role, aswell as high level analytical and research skills and the abilityto evaluate complex information, provide expert advice and developclear correspondence and reports.
The role requires a flexible, “can-do” attitude andthe ability to develop business knowledge quickly in response toevolving business needs. Qualifications or experience in business,accounting or planning (or any other related field) will also behighly regarded.
