We are scaling up our audience insights and analytics team in the Audience & Marketing division to transform and provide richer data stories and strategic insights across all our key consumer audience segments.
What the role is all about
The Senior Marketing Analytics Manager is a newly created role with a primary focus to lead the marketing analytics function for REA Group. We are looking for an exceptional Analytics Manager who is keen to understand audience trends and the stories that data can tell as well as someone who is passionate about uplifting internal analytics capability.
This role will suit someone who is highly inquisitive, an innovative and strategic thinker, self-motivated and who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be doing:
Drive the marketing analytics strategy for REA Group and work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to enhance our marketing analytics tech stack.
Define a roadmap of strategic audience deep-dives and exploratory analysis.
Support the Executive Manager, Insights & Analytics to make recommendations on opportunities for growth and strategic success drivers.
Build a central resource for audience analysis and insights.
Uplift internal analytics & insights capability through coaching, training and upskilling programmes.
Manage a Senior Insights Analyst and mentor other team members.
Be the key point of contact for audience attribution analysis ensuring relevant digital data is 100% accurate and available in the required analytics platform and data warehouses.
Consulting with data science to drive predictive audience analysis such as forecasting and audience behaviour modelling.
Engage with the Tag Management team to help improve solutions for managing tracking across all marketing analytics.
Lead and manage ad-hoc analytical requests from internal stakeholders, prioritising accordingly.
Who we’re looking for
The role is suitable for someone who has already developed strong hands-on ‘technical’ skills in marketing analytics with proven people management skills.
Substantial experience working in senior analytics roles.
People management skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team of analysts.
Extensive experience in advanced digital analytics tools that cover website and mobile usage (eg, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
Experience in driving actionable insights using advanced analytics.
Solid understanding of digital marketing in SEM (Search Engine Marketing) / PPC (Pay Per Click), Social, and SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) strategies
Extensive experience working with attribution models (eg. Last touch attribution).
Ability to quickly understand a business objective, problem solving to create an analytical solution and stakeholder communication.
Experience using business intelligence systems such as Tableau.
Experience in managing multiple projects at the same time, within tight deadlines.
Exceptional storytelling and visualisation skills to clearly communicate insights and explain complex analysis in an easy-to-understand way.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
Familiar with tag management solutions (eg. Tealium) and a basic understanding of the principles of JS and HTML.
Highly analytical, logical, and a critical thinker with an eye for detail.
Demonstrated experience and passion for solving problems.
Work productively in a fast-paced and agile environment.
