We are currently seeking a motivated Senior Planner to join our Perth based project team on an 8-month Engineering Study. This role will provide technical expertise regarding planning and analysis of project schedule information to manage and maintain the engineering schedule for the study and develop an execution schedule for the future works.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Establishing the project baseline schedule along with the development of a comprehensive basis of schedule which outlines all schedule assumptions, construction sequencing, calendars, weather, resources, equipment, and critical path information
  • Delivering robust and strategic planning, logic and sequencing, critical path analysis, lookaheads, productivity and performance analysis
  • Adapting and implementing project specific procedures, processes, and tools
  • Support the in development and implementation of the project specific advanced work packaging
  • Administration of schedule change management to identify, track, document and mitigate all changes.
  • You should possess the following:

  • A degree or qualification in Engineering preferred but not essential
  • 6-9 years’ multi discipline project planning experience, with 1-2 years’ senior experience within Oil & Gas, Mining, Infrastructure, Marine preferred
  • Experience within project execution environment with multi discipline exposure
  • Experienced User of Primavera P6 and Prism
  • Understands how to apply physical progress and earned value measurement
  • Experience in Cost Control and other Project Controls functions is advantageous.
  • This role will be on a casual basis, approximately 20 hours per week (0.5 FTE) for an initial 8 month contract.
