The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is recruiting for a PSL-6 software developer for the public user experience Section.
The Information Services Division is responsible for the provision of IT services to the Australian Parliament and electorate offices nationally. You will join the Digital Business Services Branch, which is responsible for the development of systems that underpin the operation of both chambers of Parliament, parliamentary committees, and the administrative functions across Parliament House. This Branch works across some exciting digital projects and programs aimed at updating systems, processes and increasing efficiency across the Parliament. The Branch is embarking on a challenging program of work with some interesting initiatives that will use your skillset and upskill you to further your career development.
This is an opportunity to be involved in an innovative project to transition DPS to a cloud-first service provider, that will leverage and build on your skillset. Having recently commissioned key components of the Microsoft Cloud Platform, we are embarking on a program of work to modernise the operation of these functions, and how we go about it!
