Level 5 remuneration is available with the gross income achievable in the range $350,261 to $473,685 depending on years of experience. In addition, there is superannuation (Australian Superannuation Guarantee). There is 5 weeks annual leave and 25 days per annum Training, Education and Study Leave (accruable and funded). In view of this, the preferred applicant will need to demonstrate working in a solo capacity for extended periods of time.<span><span><span><span><span><span><span><p> <p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;;font-family: Arial;;;;"><br > &nbsp;<p> <p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;;font-family: Arial;;;;"><b>What you&#39;ll be doing<b><p> <div> <div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;"> <ul> <li>To provide high quality diagnostic, consultative, procedural and on-call specialty services in Anatomical Pathology, and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities commensurate with the Staff Specialists (State) Award.<li> <li>The Staff Specialist will ensure a high standard of professional performance and, where required, the encouragement of an academic environment which supports research and development.<li> <ul> <div> <p style="font-family:Arial; margin-bottom:0px; margin-top:0px;;;;;;;;;"><span style="font-size:small"><strong>Selection Criteria<strong><span><p> <ol> <li> <div style="margin-bottom:0px; margin-top:0px"><span style="font-size:small">Currently registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and obtained Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in Anatomical Pathology, andor other specialist recognition as provided under the Staff Specialists (State) Award.<span><div> <li> <li><span style="font-size:small">Demonstrated commitment to basic, applied or clinical research andor medical education and staff training.<span><li> <li><span style="font-size:small">Proven ability to work as a team member with effective communication, interpersonal skills and adaptability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.<span><li> <li><span style="font-size:small">Demonstrated personal qualities including effective communication skills, motivation, initiative, time management and commitment to professional development.<span><li> <li><span style="font-size:small">Demonstrated commitment to the principles of clinical quality management, continuous improvement and a contemporary knowledge of National Pathology Accreditation Advisory Council (NPAAC) Standards and NATA accreditation processes.<span><li> <li><span style="font-size:small">Demonstrated contemporary clinical knowledge and technical expertise within the specialty of Anatomical Pathology.<span><li> <li><span style="font-size:small">Proven 5 years post specialty experience&nbsp;with at&nbsp;least 2 years of solo practice (<span><span style="font-size:small">Selection criterion 7 would only apply if working at Griffith Base Hospital).&nbsp;<span><li> <ol> <p style="font-family:Arial;;;;;;;;;">&nbsp;<p> <p style="font-family:Arial; margin-bottom:0px; margin-top:0px;;;;;;;;;"><span style="font-size:small"><strong>
