This role will see you responsible for monitoring system availability, configuration and performance in real time of the Water and Sewer systems. You will be proactively controlling system operations to optimise system operation and minimise the impact of system failures. In addition you will be prioritising and triaging work orders for the dispatch of work crews, and providing technical expertise and advice to field staff as required.

Shifts involve day, afternoon and night shifts to cover a 24/7 roster, Monday to Sunday. Please click on the following link for further details -

Key activities of this role include:

  • Monitor system availability, configuration & performance in real time from the control centre;
  • Process, assess, review, approve (or reject) and implement temporary system change requests;
  • Conceptualise, define and carry out hydraulic system calculations, in order to understand system performance to optimise operation or minimise the impact of system failures.
  • About You:

  • You have extensive experience in water operations or are technically trained in water and sewer;
  • Strong background in Water and Sewer network with strong leadership skills;
  • In pressure situations you can apply your knowledge to make the right decision;
  • You enjoy sharing your knowledge and expertise, while also learning from others;
