Appointment Pool

Dalyellup College is seeking to establish a pool of Teacher - Arts for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2021 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2022. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2021 school year, up to the end of Term 2, 2022.

Suitable applicants will have experience in The Arts. Experience in the implementation of the Western Australian Curriculum is highly desirable. Suitable applicants will possess strong capacity to engage students from Years 7 to 12 in teaching and learning opportunities which enable students to achieve their highest potential. They will display a commitment to excellence. Expertise in planning and teaching Year 11 and 12 ATAR Media courses and familiarity with Year 11 and 12 Visual Arts courses would be advantageous. A vocational certification in Visual Arts and/or Media is preferred and some experience in Design courses is also desirable.

Dalyellup College features contemporary, state-of-the-art facilities located in the community of Dalyellup on the outskirts of Bunbury in the Capel Shire. It is an Independent Public School catering for approximately 800 secondary students from Years 7 to 12. The community of Dalyellup (‘a village in the forest by the sea’) is growing, with new land and homes being built. The College forms part of an Independent Public Schools Cluster together with Dalyellup Primary School, Tuart Forest Primary School and Capel Primary School.

    Employees will be required to :

  • Provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy

  • Complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
  • Complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
